Art Alive

Waiting for this term to come around the corner REALLY, REALLY- QUICKLY to be over, I just wanted to SCREAM...  

This term we are learning about different types of artists, so can you guess what we are learning or even better studying this term.  Well if you did not catch ON yet, our topic is called ‘Art Alive’

The teachers from the senior side of the school have decided for different class to move from classes to classes every day last week.  Every class learnt about author techniques of art, art is not all about drawing? but it is also about painting, pictures and different STYLES.

So this term is going to be a crazy term because of our topic Art Alive.  I can not wait to learn about other artists around the world.

Our Learning

Not so long ago, Mr. Barks found out about new programs sites online. The program sites are educational wise for us students to learn loads and loads more about Literacy and Mathematics.

Mr. Barks has gone out of his way to set us up with our own account, so far Mr. Barks has made us 4 different sites of programs for us to learn and to help us with our learning.

Here are the 4 websites that is differently HELPING us. So be sure to check these websites out.

The first site that we do in the mornings before the bell goes for School is X-tra Maths, X-tra Maths is about knowledge and knowing our Basic Facts off by heart. Here is a picture of what X-tra Maths looks like.

Maths Whizz is all of the Maths you can ever think of but it does help us.

Here is the third and fourth activitys: www.Studyladder.co.nz It is a Litercay and a Mathematic program.

Now StudyLadder is not the same as Math Whizz and X-tra Math, on StudyLadder you can find all sorts of learning skills on StudyLadder.
